I worked with a 3rd party developer to port Ultralingua’s Spanish to English dictionary over to Windows Phone. I created wireframes for the app and the necessary art assets for use in the interface.
The paradigm for Windows Phone was fundamentally different from what we were used to on iOS. We had to adapt to having more software keys, more hardware keys, multi-screen panoramic content that the user had to swipe through, and more.
Add to this the drastic change from the pseudo-realistic skeuomorphism of the contemporary version of iOS and it was an opportunity to drastically rethink the core elements of the application.
